As a leadership, learning, culture, and human factors expert with nearly two decades of experience, I am passionate about developing the interpersonal skills of individuals, teams, and organisations. From flight crews and medical professionals to consultants and others working in high-risk industries, I work together with individuals and organisations to create a positive and productive working culture, improve safety, and enhance team cohesion. Whether psychological safety, change management, emotional intelligence, resilience or collective ownership, continuously evolving competency-based trainings approaches are needed to develop the skillset of individuals and teams now and in the future. As a recognised expert in human factors, I have given speeches on four continents on topics spanning leadership, empathy, and organisational culture.

Skyguide is responsible for providing air navigation services within Swiss airspace and in the airspace of certain adjoining regions in neighbouring countries. The company guides the civil and military aircraft entrusted to its care – around 1,2 million flights a year – through some of the busiest and most complex airspace in Europe. Skyguide is a non-profit limited company which has its head office in Geneva. The majority of its shares are held by the Swiss Confederation. The company employs some 1500 people at 14 locations in Switzerland. Skyguide is also a member, together with its sister organisations in Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, of the FABEC initiative to create a common functional airspace block that will bring greater efficiency to Central Europe’s air traffic management services and activities.
